Barry Anderson, ’00, music education, Broadway performer and composerMy most indelible memories of my time at UWEC are all connected in some way to the fine arts building.
Future Blugold music and theatre students will have new state-of-the-art facilities in which to study and perform. Final plans have just been made for the performing arts center known as the Confluence Project, a public-private partnership between the city of Eau Claire and the university that will transform the downtown into a major destination for the arts.
The Confluence Arts Center will provide enriched experiences for UW-Eau Claire students who will both perform and work behind the scenes in the new state-of-the-art facility to be constructed in downtown Eau Claire. Private gifts in support of the Confluence Arts Center are welcome as the project partners near the $13.5 million philanthropy goal. This video describes the important impact the project will have on UW-Eau Claire students.Big things to come
