We are fortunate to have a river, stream, and a 230-acre park that we get to learn from right here on our campus. That is why sustainability has a special place in our hearts at UW-Eau Claire. Keeping these areas and their systems intact is extremely important to us. From energy conservation to the search for a clean commute, it is our goal to make our campus more sustainable for the future, and inspire our students to take these values with them wherever they may go. Find out below how we actively practice sustainability in a number of ways at UW-Eau Claire.

Living Learning Community

Surround yourself with other people who are passionate about sustainability by joining the Sustainability Living Learning Community (LLC). Activities like upcycle craft night and canoeing the Chippewa River are just a few examples of the fun.
